The Women’s Ministry at the
I wanted to announce our latest Bible
Study beginning on Wednesday, March 4th, at 6:50PM. It’s Beth
Moore’s latest study, “Esther, It’s Tough Being a
Woman”. The story of Esther is one of my favorite stories in
the Bible, so I am super excited about this!
Beth
writes, “Join me in an in-depth and very personal examination of this great
story of threat and deliverance. If you’ve ever felt inadequate,
threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the
study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s rough today. We’ll peel back the layers of
history and show how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to
us. This portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our
hurried, harried, and pressured lives.” A hearty AMEN, Beth!
Now I
know there are those we are saying…”I’d like to do the study, but I have other
commitments on Wednesday nights…”. NOT A
PROBLEM! We will be offering the study on Tuesday nights at 6:50PM
as well! I’ve asked Kim Cannon to join us on Tuesday nights, so unless
someone else would like to work the nursery, there will not be childcare.
If you are interested in either night, please sign the registration sheet in
the foyer so that I can have enough books. The cost is $15.00 per book. And please indicate which night you
prefer. If you have any questions or comments, please contact me by email
